RANT AHEAD! I’ve never been a Quinn Fabray fan but at the start of the third season when she went nuts and started dressing edgy, I thought I would start to like her character but then they made her go back to looking like she used to. I liked this look because I feel like all of the edgy characters in Glee (like Tina and Kurt) have been watered down stylistically to look like a typical fashion editorial. I miss subversion in today’s television, like Rayanne from My So-Called Life, John Bender from The Breakfast Club, and Nancy from The Craft. (I know, it’s a movie!) These days, characters who begin the show with a sense of dress that’s unique, don’t end up that way like Ellie from Degrassi and Rich from Skins. Tv is trying to “whitewash” a creative sense of style. Rant done.

Anthony Williams. I feel like he should have won. His design was clean, sophisticated, and sexy. They said his styling was off, but I really like the way he styled it.
Michael Costello. I REALLY loved this dress! it mixed my 3 favorite things- black, feathers, and draping. The back is exquisite as well.

Mondo Guerra. Runner-up.
April Johnston and Michael Costello (respectively) who both used mops. Loved them both just wished that the top of Michael’s was more filled out and April’s reminds me of:
by Alexander McQueen.
And this one by Austin Scarlett.
