And this concludes Lady Gaga Monday!

This is by no means my favorite video or song and I think the clothes in it are OK but the reason I decided to do this video is because it’s one of her most popular songs, and the song that put her on the map so I felt like I was obligated to.

I don’t hate the song but by the time the video had come out, I had already fell in and out of love with this song. Then they played it EVERYWHERE! So now, so many years later, I’ve just moved on to other Gaga songs.

The clothes were revolutionary at the time this video was made but now that I look back on it, I think they still look amazing but they don’t elicit the same ecstasy in me.

My favorite look is the all-black, football player, strip poker orgy.

But this song and video will forever remain Classic Gaga and it deserves some respect.

Had to do this eventually so why not now?! Aside from Bad Romance and Judas, this is one of my all-time favorite Gaga songs and videos! I even got my mom to fall in love with this song!

I love the meaning behind the song, and the visuals of the video. My absolute favorite part of the whole video (although a VERY small part) is at the very end when the cameraman at the police station tells her to lean in and she does the couture lean and gasp. I die every time.

This video gives me everything I need! Dior, a dark and heavy beat, maids in various death scenes, Jeremy Scott, Thierry Mugler, black lipstick, the triplets from Shot of Love, Alexander Skarsgard, the list goes on! And we won’t begin to talk about the yellow Minnie Mouse outfit…..perfection!

Music Video Series: Hard ft. Jeezy

I like this song but it’s not my favorite. I will say though, I love the video, and the military, tough bitch visuals mixed with sexy apocalyptic, war-torn fashion. This is also my favorite Rihanna style period, when she was harder, darker and edgier and I preferred what her music was doing.

If the country ever went into war, expect to see me wearing ALL of these outfits!

The last 3 are from the “Run This Town” video and I included them because that video also had some dark militarian aspects to it and they were during the same period and I LOVED her outfits in it.

Music Video Series: Work ft. Missy Elliot

To date, one of my favorite dance videos, choreography, and songs by Ciara. I hate that it wasn’t more popular because I can guarantee if this song came on in the club (also a lyric in the song) I would absolutely lose my mind!

This was Ciara’s short lived but visually stunning turn away from her urban roots and into dance tracks and high fashion. I enjoyed thoroughly.
